More details are emerging of Manchester United's interest in FC Nordsjælland winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The Daily Mail says United and Liverpool were among a dozen European clubs to see Ghanaian teenager Sulemana score his 10th goal of the season for Danish club FC Nordsjælland on Monday night.
United sent scout Tommy Nielsen to watch the 2-2 draw against Copenhagen and are opening negotiations for the £12million winger, who has emerged from the African Right to Dream Academy.
However they face competition from Ajax whose director of football Marc Overmars also flew to Denmark for the game as 19-year-old Sulemana outpaced the defence before finishing with his left foot.
Ajax had a previous bid for Sulemana turned down in January.
The player's growing reputation has also prompted Liverpool's interest with their Scandinavian scout Mads Jorgensen present in the stadium though they are considered outsiders in the chase at the moment.
