Manchester United are said to be 'satisfied' that the dressing room leaks that have been so prevalent recently will cease during the 2022/23 campaign.

United have endured a horrific season and they are set to record their lowest ever Premier League points tally, regardless of the result in their final game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Throughout the campaign the media have been privy to goings-on at the club, apparently due to leaks in the dressing room.

However, as per a report from The National, United have conducted an internal investigation and they are confident that there will not be similar issues next term when Erik ten Hag takes over from Ralf Rangnick.

Although Rangnick will remain in charge against Palace, Ten Hag has already travelled to London to begin working on turning the club's fortunes around. He will also be in attendance at Selhurst Park.

As reported by 90min earlier this week, Ten Hag will be joined in the dugout by Mitchell van der Gaag - his assistant from Ajax. Former Man Utd assistant manager Steve McClaren is joining the coaching team too.

Ten Hag was keen to add McClaren to his backroom staff due to his knowledge of the club and his contacts in the English game.
