Man Utd revive plans of bringing back Burnley winger Dwight McNeil

Manchester United are exploring the prospect of bringing Burnley winger Dwight McNeil back to Old Trafford.

United view the England U21 international as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund superkid Jadon Sancho.

Lancs Live report United are keen on re-signing McNeil and he is on their transfer radar, though a deal is unlikely to happen if Sancho arrives.

Borussia Dortmund have remained firm in their stance that United missed the deadline to sign Sancho.

McNeil has caught the eye while at Burnley having been part of Manchester United's youth team.

He was released at the age of 14 but is now regarded as one of the finest up-and-coming players in the Premier League.
