Man Utd fans have been loving a recent video of Bruno Fernandes shouting at him teammates “You’re here to play football, not film it!”

It’s a big year ahead for United given the shoddy campaign they endured last season.

Under the new management of Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff, it’s nothing short of compulsory that they make major strides towards recovering the ground they’ve lost to their major rivals.

Something that won’t be an easy feat given the level Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have all proven they are capable of playing at.

However to make things even more challenging, we also have the World Cup awkwardly sandwiched into the mix across the winter which means starting the season well will be crucial.

Man United’s preparations

United are due to report back into their Carrington training complex for pre-season on Monday, June 27.

It’s a date that should allow the club plenty of time to prepare for their hectic round of six warm-up fixtures, in which the club will play: Liverpool, Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.

A busy schedule that will see them travel from Bangkok, to Australia and Norway.

However, it seems certain groups of players are so keen to right the wrongs of last season that they’ve been getting in for training early…

Video: Bruno’s shouting/banter with Fred & Telles

In a video shared to Twitter, the Brazilian duo can be seen filming outside the club’s training facilities.

But when Fernandes caught on to what they were doing, he shouted over:

“Stop being such ‘ballers’!

“You are here to play football, not film it!”

After a jokey exchange between the trio of teammates, the Portuguese continued: “Film my d**k.”

To which Fred replied: “Chill out you f****r!”

Fans can’t quite work out whether it was a joke or not, maybe partly, but it seems there was some seriousness to his tone – we’ll let you be the judge of that.

But at least Fernandes has got some fire in his belly again and has come back in high spirits after what was a torrid season for him personally.

Much like his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, United fans can be absolutely certain that those two more than anyone will be desperate to get the club back on track.

And it seems Fernandes is taking no prisoners from the off.

Don’t get on the wrong side of him this season!
