Manchester United have completed the signing of Marcel Sabitzer.

United received the news on transfer deadline day that they will be without Christian Eriksen for a few months.

The Danish midfielder suffered an ankle injury against Reading and could be out of action until May.

United had limited time to sign a replacement but they worked quickly and managed to secure the capture of Sabitzer.

The Austrian midfielder has joined the club on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich.

United do not have an option to buy the 28-year-old at the end of his loan, per journalist Fabrizio Romano.
