Atalanta winger Amad Traore is on Manchester United's radar.
The Manchester Evening News says United have contacted the Italians amid competition from other clubs but the youngster is not seen as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.
The 18-year-old made his debut for the Serie A side last season and was part of the club's Champions League squad for their quarter-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
Italian sources believe the right-sided will not come cheap, despite his playing time in Serie A amounting to just 30 minutes.
Unsurprisingly, Traore has attracted interest from elsewhere with Manchester City, Arsenal and Juventus among his admirers. He has also been heavily linked with a loan move to Parma.
