Manchester United were prepared to break the bank to bring Barcelona superkid Ansu Fati to England, it has been revealed.
Fati admitted yesterday, having penned a new deal with Barca to 2027, that he had offers from abroad to leave Barca.

A year ago, United offered Fati a contract worth €15m-a-year - net - and tabled the package to agent Jorge Mendes. They were also prepared to pay €120m to Barca to bring the youngster to England.
But then Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu refused to consider selling the teen.
