Man Utd midfielder Fred: What Cavani told me about Corinthians | OneFootball

Manchester United midfielder Fred insists Edinson Cavani is not joining Corinthians this month.

The Uruguayan is being linked with an exit from Old Trafford, including a possible return to South America.

But Fred believes Cavani will see out of the remainder of his contract, which expires next year.

The midfielder told ESPN Brazil: "The other day I joked with him, saying that I had heard something about Corinthians.

"I played with him. He just laughed. He said he still has a contract to fulfil."
