Man Utd midfielder Fred sends message to fans after dismal season
Tribal Football
Manchester United midfielder Fred insists there's a positivity around the arrival of new manager Erik ten Hag.
Fred is one of the few players to see his stock rise this past season after a decent campaign but he has conceded it's been a poor year from the players.
However, he has promised that everyone is eager to make amends when football gets back underway in August.
"It was far from the season we planned back in the beginning" the Brazilian tweeted. "We weren't able to achieve our goals and we are fully aware of it. Let's take this break to recharge the batteries and come back even hungrier for the next one.
"Man United is big and we have to be the right place as soon as possible. Thanks to the fans for all the support. It will always be for you!"
