Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer explained his decision to omit Eric Bailly from the starting lineup against Liverpool.

The Red Devils were excellent in defense as they battled for a 0-0 draw against the Reds at Anfield.

Bailly was replaced in the starting lineup by Victor Lindelof, who did not put a foot wrong.

Solskjaer told MUTV pre-game: "Victor [Lindeof] has been training this week to get ready for this game, to be prepared.

"I gave him the Burnley game off."
