Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Jesse Lingard is still 'self-isolating' after becoming a close contact of someone with COVID-19.

Lingard, 27, came close to leaving Old Trafford in the summer and has made just two appearances this season.

"Jesse (Lingard) is self-isolating after contact with a positive case," Solskjaer told reporters ahead of Tuesday's clash with Istanbul Basaksehir.

On other team news, Solskjaer added: "We hope he's going to be available. He trained this morning and we'll see if there's any reaction when we report tomorrow. Still Luke Shaw is out. [Phil] Jones is out.

"There are one or two little things that we need to look at in the morning, but hopefully everyone else is available."
