Manchester United have issued a statement about having fans back in stadiums in the United Kingdom from December 2nd.
The nation's government announced new restrictions on crowds at sporting venues.
The nation will be put into three tiers, depending on the number of infections in different areas.
Those in tier one can have up to 4,000 fans in some stadiums, while tier two can have up to 2,000. Tier three cannot have any fans in stadiums as yet.
United issued the following statement about the decision:
"We welcome today's announcement from the Government and we reiterate that we are ready to welcome fans back to Old Trafford, as soon as it is safe to do so.
"We will now work through the detail of the plan with the relevant authorities and await the announcement on the local restriction levels."
