Manchester United hero Patrice Evra has slammed his former teammates for blanking yesterday's charity match.
Evra appeared to lash out at fellow club heroes who missed the charity match defeat to Liverpool.
United greats such as Gary Neville, Jaap Stam and Dimitar Berbatov laced their boots one more time to take on former Reds rivals including Jamie Carragher, Dirk Kuyt and Jerzy Dudek.
The Merseysiders won the friendly encounter in aid of the Manchester United Foundation 3-1 at Old Trafford.
And Evra was furious at full-time with the absence of some of the Red Devils' English greats.
The former France international - who played with Three Lions icons including Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand - was also unhappy with the lack of heroes who are based in England as he himself had to fly from Dubai.
The former left-back insisted "when Man Utd call, you answer" because "there is no friendly match" against Liverpool.
Evra told MUTV: "I'm sorry for the fans.
"I know it's a charity game, but there is a rivalry between the two clubs. There is no friendly match.
"Where are the English players? I live in Dubai. I came from there. When Man Utd call, you answer.
"I think more legends should be here today. When United calls you, you have to be there."
