He made his debut for the Red Devils in 2021 and has made three appearances for the club.

Erik ten Hag felt it would be better if Hannibal gained experience elsewhere and he joined Birmingham on a season-long loan at the start of the season.

The Tunisian, who has already made 20 appearances for his country, scored the first goal of his professional career in Birmingham's Championship clash against West Brom at St Andrew's.

And what a goal it was.

Birmingham were given a free-kick some 30 yards out in the 10th minute.

It looked as if Hannibal would cross the ball into the box with a number of Birmingham players waiting on the edge of the box.

But the youngster had other ideas.

He spotted West Brom's goalkeeper, David Button, towards the far post. It was clear that Button, too, was expecting a cross.

With Button not covering his near post, Hannibal decided to have a go at goal.

His effort had power and was perfectly placed. Button desperately tried to get across but he could do nothing as Hannibal's effort found the back of the net.

It was a fantastic goal and you can view it below...

Hannibal: take a bow.

Lee Hendrie was commentating on the game on Sky Sports and he was full of praise for the youngster.

He said: "That is absolutely class; it really is. Button leaves an awfully big gap at his near post but credit this man [Hannibal].

"He takes it on and the connection is first class. It has pace, it's on the money. Button has got no chance at all of getting across and making the save. That is improvisation as its best."

What a way to score your first professional goal. He won't score many better for the rest of his career.
