Man Utd focus on Sesko transfer | OneFootball

Manchester United are prioritising a transfer for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško over any potential alternatives.

Ruben Amorim's side are keen to bring in a new number nine as the club look to revamp their previously goal-shy attack.

Recent reports suggest that Šeško is the chosen candidate and that the Red Devils are favourites to sign the 22-year-old.

Journalist Craig Hope of MailSport had reported that Newcastle United believe that the Manchester side are the likely destination for Šeško and that the Magpies are turning their attention to Fulham's Rodrigo Muniz.

Meanwhile, David Ornstein of The Athletic has stated that the Old Trafford outfit are prioritising a deal for the Slovenian ahead of any other targets like Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa.

Šeško, who scored 21 goals in 45 games for Leipzig last season, still has a contract with the German side until 2029 so United may need to make sales before being able to complete any deal for the striker.
