Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman is eager to offload Ousmane Dembele before the deadline falls next week.
The France winger, who is now fully fit, has emerged as a target for Manchester United, which view him as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho.
Sources in Spain are mixed on claims United are offering €55-60m for Dembele, however there is a belief that Koeman would not have a problem seeing the injury-prone attacker sold.
The stumbling block though is the player, who doesn't wish to leave Barca.
Dembele fought hard to stay with Barca last summer when PSG came calling and is now digging in his heels again amid talk of fresh interest from United. Even if Barca and Koeman want the deal to go through, United may struggle to convince Dembele about the move before the market shuts on Monday.
