Ajax are aiming to take advantage of Manchester United distractions to sign FC Nordsjaelland winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.

United's Scandinavian scout Tommy Moller Nielsen has confirmed he's been watching Sulemana long-term.

And Ekstra Bladet says United are interested, as are Ajax, but the English giants have 'parked' their plans for Sulemana as they scout talent at the Euros.

As such, Ajax have stepped in this week to make an offer for the Ghana international.

Sulemana was in Amsterdam on Wednesday for an Ajax medical and to tour the club's facilities. However, no agreement between the two clubs yet exists, with FCN rejecting Ajax's opening offer.
