Manchester United have confirmed that Luke Shaw has returned to first team training after a hamstring injury that has kept him out since February.
The news comes as a welcome boost as the Reds have already welcomed Leny Yoro back to the squad, and have confirmed that Tyrell Malacia is also close to a comeback.
Shaw played 178 minutes at the European Championships for England this summer, but has failed to feature at all for Man Utd this season.
Interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed that Shaw is doing "pitch work and progressing" ahead of his return to action.
