Manchester United coaching staff aren't convinced by Eric Bailly's long-term fitness prospects.
The London Evening Standard says coaches at Old Trafford apparently have major concerns over Bailly's injury and they do not think he is the right man to play alongside Harry Maguire.
The Ivory Coast international joined United from Villarreal for £30million four years ago.
However, he has only made 44 league starts - averaging at 11 per season.
Victor Lindelof was the first choice defender this campaign and if a new defensive signing is made then Bailly's minutes will be limited further.
