After being heavily linked with Jonathan David, Manchester United are told they can find many more lucrative deals on the free-agent market.

The Red Devils will certainly be looking to bolster their attacking department, especially after parting ways with Marcus Rashford and Antony who weren’t replaced in January. Moreover, the club remains in dire need of goals as Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t been prolific enough. For his part, Joshua Zirkzee has been showing some signs of improvement as of late, but it remains insufficient.

Therefore, the Premier League giants have entered the race for David who cemented himself as one of the most consistent bombers in Ligue 1 in recent years. The 25-year-old Canadian will be available for free in the summer as his contract with Lille will expire in June.

But according to Fichajes.net, United will also have the opportunity to snatch several other free agents. The source names another four stars who would be a major boost for the club, beginning with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin whose value is estimated at around €22 million and is finally destined to leave Everton.

The same goes for Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah (€30 million) who is one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe.

In addition to David (€45m), the source mentions another Lille star in the shape of Angel Gomes (€25m), a 24-year-old attacking midfielder who rose through the ranks of Man Utd before leaving the club in search of additional playing time.

The last name on the list is Leroy Sane (€45m) who appears set to leave Bayern Munich in June. The Germany international would certainly add some spice to Ruben Amorim’s attacking department.

These players have a combined estimated value of €167 million, which translates to circa £139 million. However, they wouldn’t cost Man Utd a penny in transfer fees thanks to their expiring contracts, although they would command lucrative wages and large commissions as is the norm with free agents.
