Solskjaer now is turning to Dalot in the Champions League after Aaron Wan-Bissaka's dismissal in defeat at Young Boys this week.

The manager said: "Diogo had a great summer. He was called up for the European Championship, he did well with Portugal's Under 21 team. He learned a lot during the season loan at Milan.

"He has qualities that we will try to get to know better, because now he has more. Last year's loan was scheduled to allow him to gain experience and have minutes. I think he did well when he entered the field on Tuesday at Bern."
