Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick says Mason Greenwood must fight for more minutes.

The 20-year-old set up Fred for the winning goal against Crystal Palace - his first assist of the season in the league.

It adds to the four goals he mustered at the beginning of the season, but, while impressed by the maturity of the display, Rangnick insists he has to earn his appearances by showing dedication on the training pitch.

"Mason [Greenwood] did so well at the start of the season," said Rangnick.

"I think he scored three or four goals in the first three games, he's a very gifted homegrown player and I would love to give him more game-time in the future.

"But, of course, he has to deserve his game-time in training and, therefore, it was good to have him on the bench and bring him on the pitch."
