Manchester United have a firm interest in signing Bologna forward Dan Ndoye this summer.
The Red Devils will likely invest in multiple positions in the current transfer window. Manager Erik ten Hag may prioritise a right-sided winger.
According to 4-4-2 in Switzerland, United have a concrete interest in landing Ndoye and are currently pushing to secure his transfer from Bologna.
The Red Devils recently requested information over the asking price. The Serie A outfit responded with a £21 million price tag for the former Nice and Lausanne man.
The 23-year-old spent part of his youth career with Swiss club Lausanne, who are currently owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS.
The young forward went on to join sister club Nice in 2020, but he barely played for them before joining Basel.
Bologna signed him alongside Riccardo Calafiori from Basel last summer, and it appears the duo could leave after one season.
United are being linked with an approach for Ndoye, who made eight goal contributions in 38 games for Basel and Bologna last term.
His statistics are not exceptional, but the move is probably being orchestrated by INEOS, who are prepared to back his potential.
Ndoye has already impressed for Switzerland at the European Championship with his direct running. He scored against Germany in the group stage.
United will try to negotiate the fee. They could be prepared to pay between £10-15m for Ndoye, who can also play up front or on the left wing.
