Man Utd announce opponent for Erik ten Hag's Old Trafford debut

Erik ten Hag’s first home match in charge of Manchester United will be against Rayo Vallecano.

United will welcome the LaLiga side to Old Trafford in a pre-season friendly on 31 July.

It will round off a busy summer for the club, which begins with an encounter with Liverpool at Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium on 12 July.

After that they’re off to Australia, where they will face Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 15 and 19 July.

Then, on 23 July, comes a friendly with Aston Villa in Perth.

Before they take on Atlético Madrid at the Ullevaal Stadium, Oslo on 30 July.
