Manchester United have agreed a deal in principle to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, according to reports.

Sky Sports say talks have been ongoing today between both clubs as United look to sign the Slovenia international.

Brighton chief executive Paul Barber says Man Utd have not been in touch over a potential deal for midfielder Carlos Baleba, however.

“When the transfer window is open, unfortunately or fortunately, anything can happen,” he said.

“This also involves Nico’s situation. At the moment we also had two strikers arrive, both of them in the USA, Joao (Pedro) and Liam (Delap). So we will see what happens.”

Burnley are hoping to finalise the signing of Chelsea striker Armando Broja, having already completed a deal for now former Blues midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu.

The Clarets have also signed goalkeeper Martin Dubravka from Newcastle.

Elswhere, Sky Italy say Tottenham have made a €40 million bid for Como’s attacking midfielder Nico Paz.

It follows the news that James Maddison is set for a long spell on the sidelines with an ACL injury.

Footmercato say Liverpool are keen on a move for PSG attacker Bradley Barcola.

Gazzetta Dello Sport claim AC Milan have turned down an offer from Newcastle for defender Malick Thiaw.

Everton have opened talks with Manchester City over a loan move for Jack Grealish, according to Sky Sports.

Nottingham Forest have had a £35 million bid rejected by Ipswich Town for Omari Hutchinson, The Athletic report.

Sky Sports also report that PSG and Bournemouth are in advanced talks over a deal for defender Illia Zabarnyi.

And Fabrizio Romano claims that Fulham have seen a €30m plus add-ons bid for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin turned down, with the Ukrainian club wanting a bigger fee.
