Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was delighted with their shock win at PSG.

United stunned PSG in Paris 2-1 for their Champions League group opener last night.

Pogba remarked: "We knew what awaited us. All the players were ready for this game.

"The result came as it should have come. They had opportunities, we also had and we made it happen. The result is positive.

“We were prepared. We had prepared well for the match. We know they are very strong offensively, and we had to block that.

"Afterwards, we started off especially well and we had chances. And we managed to score."

Pogba added: "No-one should be surprised by this result."
