United welcomed Liverpool to Old Trafford for their Premier League clash.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side desperately needed to get something from the game to keep pace with their fierce rivals.

But they were absolutely outclassed in front of their own fans.

United succumbed to a humiliating 5-0 defeat. Naby Keita, Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah (3) were on the scoresheet for the away side.

Almost everyone in who sat in the home end would have been thoroughly disappointed after the game.

But not everyone.

Footage captured a supporter in the home end managing to get Roberto Firmino's shirt after the game.

You can view the moment below...

It's unknown whether the individual was a United fan or not. He could be a neutral fan or even a Liverpool supporter who somehow managed to get a ticket in the home end.

Regardless, it's still amusing to see how discrete he was trying to be when grabbing Firmino's shirt.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's role as manager now looks to be seriously under threat.

He spoke of his disappointment to the media after the game.

He said, per United's official website: "It's not easy to say something apart from it's the darkest day I've had leading these players and we weren't good enough, individually and as a team.

"You can't give a team like Liverpool those chances, unfortunately we did. The whole performance wasn't good enough, that's for sure.

"We've created openings, they've had chances and they've been clinical. We didn't take our chances early on and the third goal is the one that decided the game.

"I’m devastated and I’m as low as I’ve ever been when I’ve been at this fantastic football club. We’ve had dark days here before and we’ve always bounced back.

"I will always bounce back, no matter what the situation is now. What can you do about it? That’s the way I’ve got to look at it.”
