Manchester United Women have discovered their opponent for the third round of Champions League qualifiers.
The Red Devils have had an incredible week in Sweden advancing past two tough opponents.
Elisabeth Terland grabbed a hattrick versus PSV Eindhoven as United toppled the Dutch side 4-0 in the group stage semi-final.
United then edged past Hammarby 1-0 yesterday evening to secure their place in the third round.
Terland was once again the star, grabbing the all-important winner in the second half.
United Women have been drawn against another Scandinavian opponent in SK Brann.
The first match will be played in Norway on the 11th of September and then United will welcome their opponents back to Manchester on the 18th.
United have never faced Brann in a competitive match before but there are some links between the two sides.
Lisa Naalsund and Elisabeth Terland both used to play football for the Norwegians before making their moves to England.
Brann will certainly be no pushovers as they are in great form at the moment.
They have currently played 18 matches in their league and sit top of the table. They have won an impressive 15 games and have an imposing goal difference of 44 goals.
The Norwegians have also beaten Inter Milan and Braga to secure their place in the third round.
Bergens stolthet were league winners in 2022 and finished runners-up last season in the Topserien.
Brann impressively reached the quarter-final stage in the 2023-2024 edition of the tournament, losing 2-5 on aggregate to FC Barcelona.
