Manchester United set to launch another bid for Jadon Sancho

The 20-year-old has grown into one of the most coveted young players in Europe since joining Dortmund since 2017.

Sancho enjoyed a brilliant 2019/20 season, scoring and assisting 20 goals apiece. He also has a goal and two assists in three games in the new season.

The 13-time capped England international has been linked with a summer switch to United all summer long, but have been unwilling to meet his £108m price tag. (h/t Express)

Talks have been going on between intermediaries throughout the summer but no official bid has been made. But with the transfer window deadline fast approaching, the Red Devils are set to launch an offer for the 20-year-old. (h/t Express)

It is claimed that Ed Woodward has grown frustrated with talks dragging on this long. He will try to trash out a deal this week. (h/t Express)

It has been a very frustrating transfer window so far for Manchester United. Donny van de Beek remains the only signing that the club has made so far this summer.

The squad is already looking off-pace after last season’s excursions. And it would be foolish to not strengthen the attacking unit if we are to finish in the top four for another season.

Sancho, to that end, would be a brilliant signing for the club. However, it remains to be seen if Dortmund and Manchester United are able to reach an agreement before the window slams shut.
