A fresh insight into the future of in-demand Valencia starlet Javi Guerra has come to the fore late this evening.
The name of midfielder Guerra, of course, has long begun to secure prominence across the Spanish football landscape.
This comes amid a string of stellar performances on the part of the 20-year-old, who, despite his tender years, has already established himself as a regular in Valencia’s midfield ranks.
Such form has not only piqued attentions in La Liga, though.
In addition, recent weeks have seen speculation mount that a number of Premier League clubs are also keeping a close eye on Guerra’s development.
And, on Friday, such sides have learned exactly what will be required to lure the Spaniard away from the Mestalla.
As per transfer insider Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s ‘The Daily Briefing’, both Newcastle United and Manchester United have set their sights firmly on Guerra’s signature.
And, should either hope to strike a summer deal, an offer in the region of €35 million is likely to prove sufficient to coax Valencia into a sale.
It is also worth noting, though, that just this week, Guerra himself made crystal clear his intention to stay put at the Mestalla for years to come.
