Rasmus Højlund and new-boy Leny Yoro have departed the Red Devils’ preseason showdown with Arsenal after suffering an apparent injuries in the first half.
The Dane got off to a flying start against United’s Premier League rivals, beating an Arsenal defender one-on-one before slotting home the opener.
But only minutes later, Højlund went down feeling his lower body after hustling to get on the end of a cross in the Arsenal box.
Manchester United suffered rampant injury issues in the 2023/24 campaign, and will hope its nothing too serious for the young forward.
Højlund walked off the pitch on his own power but headed straight down the tunnel to the United dressing room.
To make matters worse, United’s new big-money signing Leny Yoro was also subbed off after appearing to suffer a knock just 15 minutes later.
The FA Community Shield against rivals Manchester City is only 14 days away.
