No fewer than six clubs have positioned themselves in the race to bring in an out-of-favour member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona this summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Vitor Roque as being the player in question.

The name of frontman Roque has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of recent days.

As much comes amid mounting claims that the decision has been reached to farm the 19-year-old out on loan for next season.

Roque, for his part, has endured a tough few months at Barcelona since arriving from his home country of Brazil during the January transfer window, sitting behind all of Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and João Félix in the attacking pecking order of boss Xavi.

Though the frontman himself is understood to be keen to stay put, the Barca coaching staff in turn feel as though Roque would benefit from a season away from the club.

This would come with a view to returning in the summer of 2025 more ready to compete for a starting berth.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the young Brazilian will not be short on options.

As per Mundo Deportivo, six clubs are interested in bringing Roque in on a temporary basis next season.

These sides come in the form of Manchester United, Lyon, Napoli, Nice, Sevilla, and Real Betis.

The latter two could well be favoured, though, with Barca understood to be keen for Roque to garner further La Liga experience if at all possible.
