Manchester City face a nervous wait to discover if Erling Haaland will be fit to face Brighton on Thursday.
The Norwegian striker was substituted off against Real Madrid, due to fatigue according to Pep Guardiola, before missing the weekend’s FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea.
He, along with Phil Foden, missed training on Tuesday in a major worry for City. John Stones was able to train, however.
An update will be delivered in the pre-game press conference later this week.
City face two tricky away trips in their bid to reclaim the Premier League lead from Arsenal, with Nottingham Forest coming after the Brighton match. Some rotation is therefore possible from Guardiola.
Ederson should return in between the posts with Josko Gvardio, Mateo Kovacic and Jeremy Doku also options to enter the XI.
