Manchester City ace Ferran Torres has left the door open to returning to Valencia.
Torres left VCF last summer for City and ended his first season a Premier League champion and Carabao Cup winner.
Asked about his ties to Valencia, Torres told Radio Marca: "Hopefully Valencia can turn the situation around because I don't like to see them in the situation it has experienced this past season. I hope everything returns to normal this year.
"I've always said it and always will. Valencia is my home, it is where I grew up and it has given me everything. Why not come back here in the future?"
Asked about the prospect of Barcelona superstar Leo Messi joining him at City, Torres added: "He is one of the best if not the best in history. He has a contract at Barça and I think he will continue, but if he decides to leave, let him decide for his family."
