Manchester City are willing to let a young star depart on loan in hopes of receiving more game time.
According to The Athletic, midfielder Cole Palmer is attracting interest from top-half Bundesliga clubs.
Pep Guardiola’s side, however, believe in the quality the 21-year-old possesses and will not include an option to buy.
RB Leipzig, who communicated their interest last summer, are said to make another move for the England U21 player.
After initially rejecting moves away from the club, Palmer is now a fan of the idea of a Bundesliga move, given the league’s reputation for helping young players develop. City have previously lost Jadon Sancho and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to Borussia Dortmund.
After 25 appearances for City last season (seven starts, one goal and one assist), regular playing time remains a top priority.
