Pep Guardiola’s side looking for response after humbling at the hands of Sporting Lisbon
Manchester City are tonight looking to get back on track when they host Feyenoord in the Champions League.
While few would imagine Pep Guardiola’s side not reaching the knockout stages, a play-off spot could well await.
Thrashed by Sporting Lisbon 4-1 last time out, City are in the midst of a dire run of form. Their 4-0 defeat at home to Tottenham on Saturday was their fifth consecutive loss across all competitions, sending them further into crisis.
Feyenoord may be underdogs here but will no doubt be taking confidence from City’s recent miserable run.
Man City vs Feyenoord is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off time tonight on Tuesday November 26, 2024.
The Etihad Stadium in Manchester will host the match.

Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench against Spurs and had somewhat of a positive impact, so should start against the Dutch side for City, and could be joined by Jeremy Doku in attack with the winger having returned to training alongside Ruben Dias on Monday.
Savinho and perhaps John Stones are the most likely to make way. Nathan Ake and Jack Grealish are also pushing for starts, though goal-shy Erling Haaland’s spot is under no threat. Mateo Kovacic, Oscar Bobb and Rodri are all still out.
Feyenoord will be without the suspended Chris-Kevin Nadje, adding to their woes amid an injury crisis. Most notably, captain Quinten Timber, first-choice ‘keeper Justin Bijlow and star striker Santiago Gimenez are all doubts for the game, along with five others.
City are reeling right now but it would be a major surprise to see them slip up yet again. Fail to win this one and it really is a crisis.
