Chelsea face Man City at the Etihad in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
Enzo Maresca has some interesting decisions to make this week, with a few players falling out of form, new arrivals in the mix and quite a few injuries building up.
In goal, Robert Sanchez keeps his place after another week of heavy questioning of his form and future.
At right back, Reece James keeps his place, starting his second game in a week for the first time in a long, long while.
In the centre, the big question was what would happen with Levi Colwill fit again. Well, now we have our answer. Colwill comes back into the team, but the returned Trevoh Chalobah doesn’t drop out, instead it’s Tosin Adarabioyo who goes to the bench.
What does that tell us? Well, it tells us that Chalobah is already our second most favoured central defender. And the returning Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana will have to unseat him. What a long and frustrating road to watch Chelsea go around the houses just to find out what we could have told them a year ago.
In midfield, Enzo Fernandez is fit enough to start after missing Monday night’s game. He plays alongside Moises Caicedo in a double pivot, with Cole Palmer roaming in his traditional role ahead of them.
The front 3 has Jadon Sancho back in the mix, with Pedro Neto dropped to the bench. Noni Madueke is on the right wing, with Nicolas Jackson up top.
Here are the full team line-ups for Man City vs Chelsea (kick off at 17:30 GMT)
Chelsea vs. Man City team news.
This is a big game for Jackson in particular – he needs to find his shooting boots and get back to form as soon as possible to get our season back on track.
