Manchester City are set to suffer fixture chaos after Storm Ciara postponed their game with West Ham on Sunday.
Astonishing winds and heavy rain battered the whole of Britain over the weekend with those extreme conditions forcing the club to cancel their match with the Hammers.
But that will have an adverse effect on Pep Guardiola’s side, who will have to fit in the game between EFL Cup and Champions League commitments.
City now have their mid-season break and will play Leicester on February 22.
After that comes the European trip to Real Madrid and on March 1 is the Carabao Cup final against Aston Villa.
March is also packed-full of matches, with the FA Cup fifth round, the Manchester derby and a potential Champions League quarter-final.
It means that the next viable midweek available is April 21 or 22.
