Man City teenage midfielder Luke Mbete interesting Leeds

Manchester City teenager Luke Mbete is interesting Leeds United.

The Athletic says Leeds are monitoring Mbete. The 17-year-old most recently made Pep Guardiola's bench for their clash with Chelsea last weekend and is highly thought of in youth football circles.

Mbete was added to City's youth ranks when Brentford's academy was shut, similar to the scenario which brought Ian Poveda to the North West.

Poveda left City in the summer for Leeds.

Meanwhile, along with Leeds, Juventus are also being linked with midielder Mbete.
