Manchester United remained top of the FA WSL as Chelsea won and Man City delivered Arsenal a big title race blow on Sunday.
Manchester United scored an 83rd minute winner to stay top of the league early on Sunday.
Vivianne Miedema scored a beautiful opener from the guests, who capitalised on City’s sloppy play out from the back with under three minutes on the clock.
Arsenal continued to impress in the opening stages but Sam Mewis headed home an equaliser in a game City went on to dominate.
City looked the more likely to score a winner but it looked like the chance had gone as two efforts from a corner were blocked on the line in stoppage time.
It looked like that was that, but Caroline Weir had other ideas, and struck with essentially the last kick of the game to take City to within a point of Arsenal and five points behind United.
