Erling Haaland is set to turn to Manchester City duties this week after missing the Blues’ Premier League clash at the weekend with a foot injury.
There was some fear in the City camp that the striker could be out for a number of weeks after aggravating the previously hurt foot, but Pep Guardiola has revealed good news in his Tuesday press conference.
The City boss says Haaland will rejoin the squad upon their return from Champions League duties in Belgrade Wednesday evening, with an assessment of his injury ahead of a Premier League clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.
Haaland has proven to be more durable than expected after joining the club with a history of muscular injuries at Borussia Dortmund.
The Norwegian has missed less than 10 games through injury so far in his time at the Etihad.
