With only a few games remaining, Manchester City have announced their nominees for the club’s Player of the Season award.
And it will have a new winner. Kevin De Bruyne won the award, voted for by fans, in three of the last five seasons but has not made the shortlist for the 2020/21 campaign.

Ilkay Gündogan, Riyad Mahrez and Ruben Días are the three men in the running.
Gündogan has scored more goals than any other player for the Premier League champions elect in 2020/21, while Mahrez has shone in the run to the Champions League final and Días has had a formidable debut season with the club.
