Man City midfielder Iker Pozo explains FC Eindhoven move

Manchester City midfielder Iker Pozo is happy with his loan move to FC Eindhoven.

Pozo has left City this season for his first chance at senior football.

He told Voetbalzone: “I first took a look here and was convinced. The Netherlands is a good country for young players. The national team plays football well, the football style is very technical.

"Look at Johan Cruijff. Spain and the Netherlands were the main options for me. The League One and League Two are more difficult leagues. The players here are tech-savvy and you have more room to play. Many guys come from top English clubs, which shows that the Netherlands is a good place to develop."

On his future at City, Pozo added: “I don't know what the plan is for me. If all goes well I can be re-loaned. The Eredivisie would be a great step, why not?"
