Manchester City were impressed with what they saw from Antonio Marin in their UEFA Youth League match last week and now they’re interested in bringing the 18-year-old to England.
According to Sky Sports, City are now monitoring Marin after he starred in Zagreb’s 2-2 draw against City, where he delivered an assist and was easily the Croatian outfit’s best player on the night.
Marin broke into Zagreb’s first-team side last season and registered three assists in nine games. He has made four appearances with them in the current campaign.
The player, widely regarded as one of Croatia’s most promising young talents, has also been scouted by both Chelsea and Villarreal.
Marin has already been capped at the U-21 level and is under contract at Zagreb until 2024.
