Cole Palmer dedicated his Champions League appearance for Manchester City last night to Jeremy Wisten.
Wisten passed away last week, having been with City's academy since 2016.
Palmer travelled with City's matchday squad to Marseille on Monday for a Champions League clash, and the 18-year-old came on for Kevin De Bruyne in the final ten minutes of the 3-0 win on Tuesday to make his debut in the competition as he continues to impress under Pep Guardiola.
After the game, Palmer posted a picture of himself in action with a caption reading: "Buzzing to have made my Champions League debut and get three points. That was for you Jez, fly high brother."
