Man City fullback Pedro Porro tells Sporting CP: I'm ready

Manchester City fullback Pedro Porro is delighted with his move to Sporting CP.

Porro has joined Sporting on-loan after spending the previous season with Real Valladolid.

He stated: "I am prepared to play at the highest level, I have been in the top-flight of Spain, I have been called to the national teams and I want to do my best in this league.

"We know that we are a big club. We have to fight for all the trophies, it's part of the club's goals, to give joy to the people who support us. We need a little more confidence, but it will be a good group. It will be a very strong and compact group."
