Man City fullback Pedro Porro passes Sporting CP medical

Manchester City fullback Pedro Porro is now a step away from signing for Sporting CP.

Porro, who spent last season on-loan with Real Valladolid, will join Sporting on a two-year temporary deal.

The defender underwent a medical on Thursday and visited Sporting's training facilities on Friday.

Should Porro impress, Sporting can sign the 20 year-old Spaniard outright for €8.5m.

City originally snapped up Porro from Spanish sister club Girona last year for €12m.
