Man City defender Laporte delighted to be part of victory over Marseille

Aymeric Laporte was delighted to be back playing for Manchester City.

The Frenchman missed the last three games, but made his return alongside Ruben Dias in the 3-0 win over Marseille on Tuesday.

"It was a very hard game and we are very happy with the win," said Laporte.

"I'm very happy to be back and I hope it's for a long time, but we will see how things go."

On the weekend trip to Sheffield United, Laporte said:"It will be difficult, like all the games in the Premier League.

"We have to focus on every game and hopefully we can go there and win."
