Cardiff City will be looking to bounce back into form under the guidance of Sean Morison over the coming months after slumping to 20th place in the Sky Bet Championship standings.

The Bluebirds are currently on a poor run of form and will no doubt be looking to use the ongoing transfer window to their advantage in an attempt to improve their squad for the better.

Full back Cody Drameh has already been brought in from Leeds United on loan, whilst the likes of Ryan Wintle and Max Watters have been brought back from Blackpool and MK Dons respectively.

However there is still time in the window for more changes to be made, with arrivals and departures still likely in equal measure at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Manchester City youngster Tommy Doyle is said to be closing in on a loan move to Cardiff, as per a recent report by Wales Online.

Morison recently confirmed that his side hold an interest in the 20-year-old midfielder and it now appears that a deal is in the pipeline.

City are said to be well in favour of the move as it would provide another of their promising young players with some much needed regualr game time at a senior level.

Doyle has spent time on loan at German side Hamburg this season.

Cardiff’s Aden Flint is said to be of interest to Sky Bet League One side Sunderland, as per a recent exclusive by Football League World.

Flint previously played under Sunderland boss Lee Johnson during the pair’s time together at Bristol City and he could well be convinced into having a reunion with his former manager.

The centre back has been a regualr starter for the Bluebirds this term and is likely to be a player that they won’t want to lose this month.

Now aged 32, Flint arguably only has one last big career move left in him before he hangs up his boots and is no stranger to plying his trade in the North East after previously turning out for Middlesbrough.

Burnley are said to be keen on making a move for Cardiff’s Kieffer Moore this month as they seek to replace Chris Wood at Turf Moor, as per a recent report by GiveMeSport.

Wood recently completed a move to Newcastle United after the Magpies paid his release clause and now the Clarets are looking for a direct replacement.

Moore is a man that they have put near the top of their list, with the Wales international having been a great signing for the Bluebirds since arriving from Wigan Athletic in 2020, scoring 25 goals in 66 games.

The 29-year-old’s current deal with the South Wales outfit expires in the summer of 2023.
