Manchester City are on the verge of completing two signings ahead of the Club World Cup, with a third still in the works.

According to Sky Sports, Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri has undergone his medical ahead of his move to the Etihad. The 23-year-old Algerian international will arrive for a fee of around £31 million.

He will be joined by AC Milan’s Tijani Reijnders, who is expected to complete his medical today after City agreed upon a £46.3 million deal for the Dutch midfielder.

Pep Guardiola’s side are also continuing to work on a move for Lyon’s Rayan Cherki. The 21-year-old is in action for France this afternoon but that transfer is expected to progress in the coming days.

There have also been advancements in departures from the Etihad. The Sun report that Jack Grealish could join Newcastle on loan. The England international’s City exit this summer now seems likely after it was revealed that he has been left out of the Club World Cup squad.

Chelsea are the other English team that will be competing in the Club World Cup this summer and Enzo Maresca’s side have had a £30 million bid rejected for Borrusia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, according to Sky Germany. It is believed that the German side want at least £42 million for the 20-year-old English winger.

The Blues are also continuing their pursuit of AC Milan’s Mike Maignan. La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the two clubs are expected to agree on a deal of £15 million for the 30 year-old goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Man Utd forward Alejandro Garnacho is also set to move away from Old Trafford. There is interest in the Argentine from a number of clubs in the Premier League, Europe and Saudi Arabia.

And elsewhere, Diario AS report that Real Madrid are set to make one last attempt to lure Martin Zubimendi to the Bernbaeu instead of Arsenal.
